The petition
They were arrested on board a private plane with 700 kg of cocaine. Both pilots Bruno and Pascal, in custody for over a year in the Dominican Republic, were released Tuesday. They will need to report regularly to court and do not leave the country pending trial.
By this petition,
You are asked to consider the request for release of the two French nationals pilots, incarcerated in Punta Cana, and whose names are:
Odos Fauret Bruno and Pascal.
I would like to remind you that their duty first and foremost, is that of a pilot, and are not in any way responsible for the contents of suitcases that two passengers were carrying.
That is the job of customs and controllers. In no circumstances were Mr Odos and Fauret under any obligation to open those 26 suitcases because, quite simply, it was not their role.
I ask you, therefore, to release them.

"The authorities had discovered 26 suitcases containing 682 kg of cocaine. If they maintain their innocence from March 2012, the date of their incarceration, they could not even really defend themselves in court which has already ordered 12 referrals. The two pilots, who provided the commercial flight and thus "were not supposed to know what they were carrying," hope to explain their case Tuesday before a new audience.
Je signe parce que je suis d'accord, mais le destinataire de cette pétition n'est pas le bon : Le poids de citoyens français est nul pour un ministère étranger. C'est à l'ambassade de la République Dominicaine à Paris qu'il convient d'envoyer cette pétition.

ça suffit le délire, que ce gouvernement comprenne que cela est insupportable et qu'il est intolérable de constater qu'il ne veut pas prendre conscience de leur erreur en libérant très vite ces pauvres pilotes
