Problem: What is the problem with the collection of our data.

Every websites you go on, every websites you sign-in, every applications you download can collect your data. You are not even anonymous they will always know something about you, something you don’t know they can access but you accept it when you check the box for “terms and generals”. That happen because they are too long, nobody will read all of them it will take too much time. Owe to your data a company will make a lot of money by selling them. And what did they can know? Almost EVERYTHING as your name, your IP address (and so where you live) , what device you use to connect, your smartphone can know where did you take a picture and when, who are your friends, what do you like and they are even more…
Some hackers steal your data and ask for a ransom to keep them secrets but you already give them to others consciously!

Solution: What is our proposed solution?

#BetterPrivacy is asking to the European Commission to create a law.
A law which reinforce our private life. A law which allow us to choose which information about us we want to give and which one we doesn’t want to give. This law must oblige companies to write in big and first which information they want to collect and why, a new box to check, out of the terms and politics, short and precise. The websites and applications would have a frame of the data collection where we can choose every single piece of information they want and they must do not restrict anything if you don’t want to give any information. The penalty if you choices aren’t respected must be harsh convincing. Moreover we want with this law to stop the reselling of data. Companies shouldn’t make money with US, with our IDENTITY, our LIFE. This law will reinforce the privacy on internet, you could be anonymous on internet, if you go on a random website why does he need to have so much information about you? We need this law with a high supervision.
