The petition
I have an abused child but because of the system, the accused walked free.
My daughter who is autistic and has learning difficulties was raped and by the time she came forward there was lack of evidence and due to her disability, was told it wouldn't stand.
She can't remember dates now at present only those found guilty are shamed and those who are let off are free to do it again. My daughter's rapist has done so and again walked due to the exact reasons. At least with the lie detector, not so many walk and do it again, but it permanently shuts up the victim.
