En l’espace de 4 années, le Tchad a perdu des milliers d’éléphants et il en reste moins de 3000 qui vont être exterminés à leur tour par les braconniers si nous ne réagissons pas.
Le Tchad déploie des efforts considérables pour protéger les précieux pachydermes , avec à sa tête le Président Idriss Deby Itno qui a déclaré la guerre aux braconniers et c’est désormais tous les jours que le pays perd des soldats abattus eux aussi par les braconniers .
Les braconniers sont bien organisés et traversent les frontières en permanence.
Nous avons besoin d’aide .Il faut que les poches de braconniers soient délogées par les Autorités des pays là où elles se trouvent au Soudan et au Centrafrique et parfois au Cameroun .
Cette pétition est un appel désespéré aux chefs d’Etat de ces pays afin qu’ils protègent les derniers éléphants de la sous région et délogent les poches de braconniers par tous moyens .
In less than 4 years, the population of Chadian elephants was almost exterminated by poachers because of Ivory. There is currently less than 3000 elephants in Chad and we desperately need the international community to help by signing the petition whereas group of poachers are living in impunity in the neighboring countries as Sudan, Central African Republic and sometimes in Cameroon, crossing regularly the borders to kill the last remaining elephants despite the huge efforts which have been done by the Authorities of Chad , by the Head of state Idriss Deby Itno who declared the war to the poachers and did not hesitate to send soldiers into that battle who lost their lives trying to save the elephants.
Situation is really desperate !
Please, we need the President Francois Bozizé(RCA ) , the President Paul Biya( Cameroon) , the President Oumar Bechir (Sudan)to catch the groups of poachers staying into their territory and neutralize them definitely to save the sub area elephants otherwise they will all die in less than 5 years .
Please do not leave the last Chadians elephants to the poachers !
