*Radical, radical: adjective that aims to act on the root cause of what you want to change.
In France, hunting kills
45 million free or farmed wild animals every year (including 30 million born in freedom), not counting the “collateral” victims of humans and animals
Hunting is neither a hobby nor an art of living!
And it is not by replacing the terms “killing” and “slaughtering” with those of “manage”, “take” or “serve” that the practice is less cruel to animals and less harmful to nature.
It is time for such a destructive activity to be banned. In the meantime, here are 10 points to reform this practice:
- Independence of the hunting police;
Prohibition of hunting - species in poor state of conservation;
- Prohibition of hunting during breeding periods;
Prohibition of killer traps;
- End of
- so-called “traditional” hunts (glue, lecques, lakes, lakes, plants, tendelles...);
- Abolition of venery underground for all species; Abolition of hunting
to run for all species;
Abolition of hunting in protected areas (National Parks, Nature Reserves, Biological Reserves); closed enclosures and parks, as well as farms for hunting,
2 days a week without hunting or trapping (including Sundays) and all school vacations; Mandatory annual medical
visit for the hunting license with sight check.
Together with the One Voice association, we, the undersigned, are calling for a radical reform of hunting!
Love for nature does not rhyme with destruction, degradation and animal suffering but with respect and wonder.
