A crime against animals is happening right now in Buenos Aires. New undercover footage released this week by Animal Equality has exposed a nightmare facility where cruelty is standard procedure. The video evidence is undeniable: workers are seen slicing off piglets' tails without anaesthesia—a painful mutilation performed amidst screams of agony. Sick and injured pigs, instead of receiving veterinary care, are dragged and dumped into open-air waste pits to die slowly among the filth.
This is not farming; this is torture. The conditions documented violate basic animal welfare standards and pose a severe health risk. These animals are living in their own waste, suffering from untreated infections, and being abused by the very people supposed to care for them. The authorities have the evidence. Now they must act.
We demand justice for these victims. We are calling on the National Service of Agrifood Health and Quality (SENASA) and the local prosecutor's office to intervene immediately. Do not let this investigation be ignored. We demand the immediate closure of this farm, the seizure of all surviving animals to sanctuary care, and criminal charges filed against the owners for acts of cruelty.
