Every year, billions of animals are trapped, abused, and killed so that humans can wear their skin, fur, or feathers. Behind every shiny label and soft fabric, there’s often a story of suffering we never see.
Most of us don’t want to support cruelty we just want to buy something warm, affordable, and kind. But today, even some of the UK’s biggest supermarkets continue to sell products linked to animal pain and fear.
It shouldn’t be this way. When we shop, we should be able to trust that what we’re buying doesn’t come from cruelty.
That’s why we’re calling on all UK supermarkets Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Aldi, Lidl and others to take real action and stop selling fashion items made from suffering, such as fur, angora, down or leather from cruel sources. They must also adopt strong, transparent, animal-friendly policies and support cruelty-free and sustainable alternatives.
We’re not asking for luxury, we’re asking for kindness. Because fashion should never cost a life.
Please add your name and help us show UK supermarkets that their customers want compassion, not cruelty.
Together, let’s make sure no animal ever suffers for a supermarket label.
