Suite à la nouvelle réglementation dans les 17 municipalités suivantes :

Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours, Notre-Dame-de-la Paix, Fassett, Namur, Saint-Émile-de-Suffolk, Boileau, Grenville, Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, Amherst, Huberdeau, Arundel, Barkmere, Montcalm, Lac des Seize-Iles, Wentworth-Nord, Brownsburg-Chatham et Harrington.

NOUS LES CITOYENS DE CES MUNICIPALITÉS SOMMES TRÈS INQUIETS POUR NOTRE SÉCURITÉ. NOUS NOUS DEMANDONS À QUEL PRIX DEVRONS NOUS VAINCRE LA MALADIE MDC?


DE PLUS, IL N’Y A AUCUN CAS RECENSÉ DANS LA FAUNE SAUVAGE DE NOS TERRITOIRES DEPUIS 2018. LA RÉGLEMENTATION RÉCENTE PRÉVOIT LA CHASSE À L’ARME À FEU ALORS QU’IL Y AURA ENCORE DES FEUILLES AUX ARBRES. NOUS DÉSIRONS LES MÊMES MODALITÉS QUE LES ANNÉES PRÉCÉDENTES AVEC ÉCHANTILLONNAGE ET QUE LES RÉSULTATS SOIENT COMMUNIQUÉS AU PUBLIC.


ACIA - NOUS, CITOYENS DES 17 MUNICIPALITÉS DES LAURENTIDES DONT :

Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours, Notre-Dame-de-la Paix, Fassett, Namur, Saint-Émile-de-Suffolk, Boileau, Grenville, Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, Amherst, Huberdeau, Arundel, Barkmere, Montcalm, Lac des Seize-Iles, Wentowrth-Nord, Brownsburg-Chatham et Harrington.

Demandons à l’ACIA de prendre les mesures nécessaires pour la décontamination du sol et des équipements de la ferme Harpur dont 11  cerfs rouges qui ont été recensés avec la maladie débilitante chronique (DMC) en 2018. Cette situation pourrait avoir comme effet de contaminer les cerfs dans la faune sauvage.

La ACIA s’était engagé à prendre les mesures nécessaires pour décontaminer rapidement mais, rien n’a encore été fait. NOUS SOMMES TRÈS INQUIETS DES RÉPERCUSSIONS POSSIBLES SUR NOTRE FAUNE.

Fallowing the new rules of the 17 following municipalities:

Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours, Notre-Dame-de-la Paix, Fassett, Namur, Saint-Émile-de-Suffolk, Boileau, Grenville, Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, Amherst, Huberdeau, Arundel, Barkmere, Montcalm, Lac des Seize-Iles, Wentworth-Nord, Brownsburg-Chatham, Harrington


WE THE CITIZENS OF THESE ABOVE MENTIONED MUNICIPALITIES ARE VERY WORRIED FOR OUR SECURITY IN THE PROCESS OF ELIMINATING THE CHRONIC WASTING DISEASE (CWD) ...AT WHAT PRICE?

NO CASES HAVE BEEN DETECTED IN THE WILD ON OUR TERRITORIES SINCE 2018. THE RECENT REGULATION PERMITS HUNTING WITH RIFLES WHILE THERE ARE STILL LEAVES IN THE TREES. WE ARE REQUIESTING THAT THE PAST NORMAL REGULATIONS BE MAINTAINED. HOWEVER THAT SAMPLES BE TAKEN TO FURTHER EVALUATE THE SITUATION AND THAT THE RESULTS BE COMMUNICATED TO THE PUBLIC.

CFIA - WE, THE CITIZENS OF THE 17 MUNICIPALITIES OF THE LAURENTIANS:

We are asking the ACIA to take the necessary measures for the decontamination of the ground and equipment of Harpur Farm’s where 11 red deer were tested positive Chronic Wasting  Disease  in 2018.  This situation could contaminate our wildlife deer.

The ACIA promised to take the necessary measures to decontaminate rapidly. But nothing has been done since 2018. WE ARE VERY WORRIED ABOUT THE POSSIBLE REPERCUSSIONS.
