As a content host, we have a duty to respect the freedom of expression of every citizen, as long as they comply with our terms of use and the law. When a petition is published on our site, it is reviewed by the Authors team. This team ensures that any spelling mistakes are corrected and verifies that it complies with the established rules. We ensure daily that no petitions inciting hatred are published and visible on our site .

You will find on MesOpinions radically opposing fights, and that is where the real debate and democracy lie. We sometimes receive messages from users unhappy to have seen a petition on a subject. We fully understand that your viewpoint may differ and encourage you to create a petition to take the opposite stance, and try to promote a cause that better reflects your values. Our conviction is that there is no democracy without a plurality of ideas. Censoring a viewpoint is not combating it, and despite our oppositions, a substantive debate is still possible in an increasingly divided society that leaves little room for nuance .

At MesOpinions, a team is dedicated to supporting authors . This support aims to help the person who created a petition to optimise, promote, publicise, and make it viral. We strive to identify petitions with the most potential (based on current events) in order to contact the authors and offer them various means to carry their fight. Whether you are a citizen, an association, or an NGO, your petition can benefit from the following viralisation tools:

• Editorial support to better present your petition, advice on content and form to be more impactful and reach a maximum audience
• The possibility to send your petition to a sample of MesOpinions users already interested in similar themes.
• A privileged link with the press and the possibility to create and send a press release to relevant journalists. Each month, our petitions generate an average of 80 press articles.
